Sun Stones are not available to buy in the stores within the game. Instead, you have to trust your own search abilities when traversing its world. We can help in steering you in the right direction at least.

Finding Sun Stones is pretty tricky, and we only have a couple of known locations and ways to obtain it. The area of Asado Desert is one such option. This is tucked away in a small cave as marked below. This area opens up once you have cleared enough of the story to open up its availability to travel to it. Traversing its terrain and picking up all items that are highlighted on the ground will certainly get the job done with at least one being discoverable from this area alone.

Another location that proves to be worthwhile is the West Province (Area One). You will want to go through and past the two mountain bends that have a slight gap between one another. The exact location of where we found it is marked below.

Players can also try their luck in battling the wild Sunflora Pokémon instead. These guys can sometimes drop the item, although this is not all that common. Get close to it and always aim to bring it down if you are in need of a Sun Stone. It’s worth trying!

For now, there is not much to go by in finding the best source for this Stone in particular. Ensure to at least attempt either places or situations depending on your preferences. You will need only a few after all since only specific Pokémon require the Stone to evolve.

Ensure to also check out our other guides on the game if you are ever stuck! We are happy to be of assistance.
