Silent Princess is Princess Zelda’s favorite flower, which is probably why it’s a component for many upgrades in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. However, if you recall a flashback from Breath of the Wild, Silent Princess is an endangered species pre-calamity, which means you won’t be able to obtain it just anywhere. Here’s where to find Silent Princess in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Where to find Silent Princess in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Early on in the game, you’ll notice that you need Silent Princess for multiple material-gathering quests on the map. The thing is, unlike most of the common materials you collect throughout the game, you can’t find Silent Princess on the battlefield. No monsters drop it, no chests or boxes contain it, and it sure won’t just be lying around on the ground somewhere.
The only way to obtain Silent Princess is as a reward for clearing certain missions and challenges, most of which won’t start popping up until the tail end of Chapter 2. The first instance in which you’ll be able to obtain Silent Princess is as a reward for the fifth mission of Chapter 2, “The Yiga Clan Attacks!” Clearing this mission will reward you with five Silent Princesses. This, however, only works once.
Silent Princess is only given as first-time quest rewards. Even if you beat them again, you won’t get any more. You won’t have to worry about running out, as there is exactly enough of the flower for everything that requires it, but the locations of it are very spaced out.
Here are a few examples of quests where you can obtain Silent Princess:
- Zelda’s Training (Recommended Level 12): 5 Silent Princesses
- Echoing Footsteps (Recommended Level 25): 10 Silent Princesses
- The Royal Escort (Recommended Level 27): 5 Silent Princesses
As you progress through the game, more quests yielding Silent Princess will pop up, so you’ll just have to play the waiting game. If you want to know the moment some is available, simply go to the materials page on your pause menu and add Silent Princess to your Sheikah Sensor. You’ll be alerted whenever a new quest offering is added.
