Where to Find Leaping Toadstool Caps in Hogwarts Legacy

Oi, puns.

A mildly silly thing about the Wizarding World is its tendency toward literal naming. Various magical ingredients and reagents often have names that describe them very literally, even if they make no sense to the uninitiated. Case in point, the literally Leaping Toadstools. Here’s where to find Leaping Toadstool Caps in Hogwarts Legacy.

The bad news is that Leaping Toadstools don’t have a fixed location you can find them in. There isn’t one singular place you can go for endless Toadstools. The good news is that they’re so common, you’d never need a singular place.

Leaping Toadstools can be found in the forested areas of the game’s overworld. They’re extremely easy to spot: they have a bright red coloration with little white spots, and they clump together in little bundles on the ground. True to their name, Leaping Toadstools wiggle, jiggle, and even leap right up out of the ground when you approach them. They’re basically impossible to miss.

Whenever you’re exploring around the Hogwarts grounds, keep your eyes peeled for Leaping Toadstools, and gather them whenever you can. You never knew when a satchel ‘o shrooms might come in handy.
