First and foremost, players must have a pickaxe and a minimum mining level of fifty in order to proceed. This is because to get started, players must mine though some rocks to get to where the Ice Gloves are guarded. Worry not however, if players are not 50 mining, this value can be boosted by several means. Once the rocks at White Wolf Mountain are broken through, players will be faced with the Ice Queen. Although the Ice Queen is a high level enemy, she is not too hard to defeat in battle. Still if players wish to take precautions, the Protect from Melee prayer makes this fight even more of a cakewalk.
Once the Ice Queen is defeated, the Ice Gloves are now yours to own. They serve uses in several quests, such as cooking a brulee supreme, or placing a pet rock into a geyser.
