Every time you find something worth a decent amount of dough, with the option to inlay, players should not sell these unless they have found their corresponding Gemstones. But where do you find Gemstones in Resident Evil 4? This guide will show you exactly where you can find them.

What to Use Gemstones On

Gemstones are valuable goods that you can sell on to The Merchant, but to gain the most amount of possible when selling, players should use these to complete one of the Treasures that can be found scattered throughout the Village Region. But finding these Treasures and Gemstones to match an be a hard task to complete. When looking for Treasure, the best thing you can do is purchase the Treasure Map from The Merchant. You will have to buy a Map every time you get into a new area in Resident Evil 4. But these will always be available at The Merchant every time you get into a new part of Valdelobos so be sure to check his store every time you enter.

Once you have obtained the Treasure Map, you will see every Treasure Chest marked on your Map. These will include rare valuables such as Elegant Bangle, Headdresses, Masks and more. Once you find these, your next job is to get Gemstones to inlay into the Treasure. This will increase its value tremendously, thus giving you a larger sum of money to spend on Weapons, Gear and Upgrades.

Where to Find Gemstones in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Gemstones are marked on the Treasure Map, just like the valuable goods you need to find to inlay with the Gems. But a lot of these are in placed where you may not think to look. If you have found Treasure through following the Treasure Icon on your Map, you may have had trouble in locating the Treasure once you get into the exact spot. This is because the Treasure is hidden in plain sight, above your head and inside the container seen dangling for the ceiling. You will need to shoot these to nab the Treasure from within. The most common Gemstones you will find are the spherical red Gems. But there are others that you need as you should use the same color when inlaying Treasures.

If you are looking for either Yellow or Blue Gemstones, you should visit The Merchant. Go into Trade where he should have Diamonds and Gems available for you to buy. But the pricing varies depending on how rare the goods are. For example Yellow Diamonds cost x3 Spinel and Red Beryl costs x4 Spinel.

Where to Get Spinel in Resident Evil 4

For those unsure of where to obtain Spinel in Resident Evil 4 Remake is to complete the Requests set by The Merchant. These are picked up as pieces of paper with the Side Quest detailed on the page. Each Quest has a location dedicated to its Objective. Some Quests give you more Spinel as a reward, such as Savage Mutt which offers x8 Spinel as a reward. You have a limited time to complete these Quests however as they are specific to each location in the game, therefore the moment you leave for storyline progression, the Quest will no longer be accessible.

When you have enough Spinel, you should Trade with The Merchant to obtain the necessary Gemstones needed for the valuable items you have procured. Once you have these in hand, head into your Key Items and Inlay the Treasure with the Gemstones you have found in your travels. By inlaying Treasure with different color Gems you will get a bonus when selling the goods to The Merchant. This will give you money from 16,000 Peseta and upwards.
