Since Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, evolution stones have been a part of Pokémon lore and a useful in-game mechanic to use to evolve specific Pokémon. With the newest Pokémon release by Nintendo, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet sees the return of battling Gym Leaders, mixing this gameplay with the new gameplay as seen only in Arceus, of observing Pokémon in their natural habitat and being able to capture them in an open-world environment without battling. Evolution stones have returned and with that comes the exploration of the Paldea region biomes. Here are the Fire Stone locations in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
What are Fire Stones?
The Fire Stone is a consumption item. Used on a set of Fire Type Pokémon, it transforms them into a stronger, more viable form. Examples of Scarlet and Violet Pokémon which can be evolved using the Fire Stone are:
- Growlithe into Arcanine
- Eevee into Flareon
Here’s the Best Ways to Find Fire Stones
These are the current Fire Stone locations where you can obtain these stones inside the Paldea region.
- Along the edges of the desert biome, on the border of the river. There is a lot of loot to be picked up here. Such as evolution stones and bare bones.
- Follow the river along, starting from the left and heading towards the right. The Fire Stone location here is sitting in the open, in between two small hills. It is hard to spot so look out for the light beam indication of an item on the floor in this area. You should also find Ether in this specific spot.
Where to Buy to Fire Stones
All evolutions stones are available as buyable items in the stores:
- Cascarrafa
- Levincia
- Mesagoza.
Although these will cost you 3,000 Pokémon dollars. It is a bit of an investment item. But if you want to fast track getting that Pokémon evolved, then these stores are an option to do so. However, we recommend, to save you money, that you check the Fire Stone locations above to obtain the stones just by exploring the open world of the Paldea region. This page will be updated should more locations be found.
