Where to Find Dragapult in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Looking for the ghostly Pseudo-Legnedary

Dragapult was last Generation’s Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon. Pseudo-Legendaries are not quite one of a kind, just very hard to find. In fact, Dragapult felt especially hard to get as its base evolution was only obtainable in one specific place and through very difficult raid battles. Though it seems Dragapult is back possibly by popular demand to obtain this cool and sly Dragon/Ghost-Type in a much easier environment than previous. Although it’s still no walk in the park, here’s how to find Dragapult in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Obtain Dragapult

Let’s be clear though, as a pseudo-legendary final evolution, Dragapult can only be obtained through evolving the lower evolutions. Who you really want to focus on finding is Dreepy, the base form. This also being said, Dreepy can only be found in Pokemon Violet. I want to repeat, you can only catch Dreepy in Pokemon Violet. So you can only obtain Dragapult in Violet or if you have Scarlet, through trade.

Once you catch Dreepy, you have to evolve it to its second form, Drakloak, first. Drakloak evolves from Dreepy at level 50. That’s a long time to grind and level up. However, the wait for Dragapult is not very far from this achievement. Drakloak evolves into Dragapult at level 60.

That’s all you need to obtain Dragapul, simple straightforward evolution. Again, however, only in Pokemon Violet. You must trade for it if you have Scarlet instead. Now lets move on to where to find Dreepy so you can evolve it.
