Gotham Knights is now expecting to drop sooner rather than later for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Publisher Warner Bros. announced during the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 that the game is coming four days earlier than initially announced.
The action role-playing game will offer both solo and multiplayer modes with an original story inspired by the Batman: Gotham Knights comic series but focusing on the characters of Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood. The announcement came alongside a new trailer that highlighted its four playable characters alongside Harley Quinn and Clayface as key villains.
When Does Gotham Knights Release?
The release date for the title that was once October 21 is now October 25. Pre-orders of the game are already available across online retailers such as Amazon and digital platforms such as Steam, now with the newly announced earlier-than-expected release date in place.

For fans of the Arkham games, Gotham Knights looks to be an unique twist on the standard Batman formula. Rather than play as the Dark Knight himself, the game will explore Batman’s legacy through the extended Bat-Family. Likewise, while Harley Quinn appears to be in a central role, don’t expect a show-stealing performance from the Joker as well.
With the game close to launch, it’s unlikely that the game will move from its October date. But should Gotham Knights take flight then we will update this page with the latest information.
