There’s no doubt about it, Disney Dreamlight Valley has been slaying it with the various new locations and characters that Gameloft has been adding to the game. From classic characters that we grew up with to new ones, we get to see with our children, there’s something for just about everyone in this game. And the Valley is about to get a whole lot bigger, as iconic people and places from Encanto begin to make their way to town. When Does Encanto Come to Disney Dreamlight Valley? Answered
Gameloft is planning a new update to go live on February 16th, marking the beginning of what Disney Dreamlight Valley calls, the “Festival of Friendship”. This update brings with it various cool new additions to the game. Olaf from Frozen makes his debut, players can venture into the Frosted Heights biome for some new fun, and the 100th celebration of Disney will sweep the new Star Path.
Along with that though is the entrance of Encanto! Mirabel herself will move into Dreamlight Valley, bringing the iconic, Casa Madrigal! Mirabel is sure to entice players with some unique quests for them to engage with, as well as a new Friendship to build up in return for some great Encanto-themed rewards.

Though this update only brings Mirabel, there could be more characters on the horizon, as Encanto has been a huge success for Disney. Dreamlight Valley also feels very much like Encanto’s own city Colombian-inspired city of Encanto. So it could only be a matter of time until we see more of our favorite faces move to Dreamlight Valley!
It’s also worth noting that this update and the inclusion of everything above is 100% free for all Disney Dreamlight Valley players! So be sure to mark February 16 on your calendars in order to be able to get right into the fun from the start!
