Hunt: Showdown is a PvPvE first-person shooter, taking place on a multitude of wide maps with a horror, survival motif. Set as a gory Western filled with murderous creatures from the darkest depths of our imagination to the just as blood-thirsty rivalling players for bounty and glory, Hunt: Showdown is as atmospheric as it is brutal. But you may be wondering just how many people can get their bomb lances and grenades at the ready in all this madness? We’re here to answer exactly that.
What is the maximum team size in Hunt: Showdown?
No matter what team set-up you intend to go in with, there is a maximum of 12 players only for each and every map you spawn into. This is the same for every single mode, be it solo play, duos or as a trio. Therefor, the breakdown for each and every possible mode is as follows:
- Solo – 12 individual players max
- Duos – 6 teams max
- Trios – 4 teams max
This means that you can play by yourself, or up to three people in Hunt: Showdown. Players can kit out their team and player character individually, from cosmetics, skins and loadouts. Players are rewarded for their individual performance – such as kills to death ratio – but the majority is handed out equality for if the team beat a boss, collect its bounty and extracts together. It does not matter who is holding the bounty as long as the team extract at the same time.
