Range is the best. We said what we said.

If you play RuneScape you have most definitely needed armor at some point in your gaming life. You’ve either needed armor to get you through a difficult quest, to defeat a boss, or to use it as protection when playing PvP. The longer you have played RuneScape and advanced in levels you will release that higher profiled armor will eventually degrade. How else is the RuneScape economy going to make money if you can keep your armor forever? Whether you’re a ranger, melee, or mage player you need armor and we’re here to tell you what the best non-degradable armor in RuneScape is.

Best non-degradable armor in RuneScape: Magic Armor

Where are my mage players at? To this day people are still arguing that mage is one of the best skills. It’s because the spells you use, as you get higher, can be very dangerous. It’s also one of those skills where it’s incredibly expensive if you’re buying all the runes and items needed to cast spells. If you’re a mage player we recommend using a non-degradable magic set known as the anima core of Seren. Best part about this set is that it’s not as expensive as other options, such as the Virtus Robes, which have similar stats. Reminder that using high level armor requires a certain skill level, and to wear these robes, you need 80 defense. You also need to have the Crest of Seren, which you can get as a drop from Helwyr in the dungeon.

Best non-degradable armor in RuneScape: Melee Armor

Melee armor is a safe choice when doing slayer tasks or fighting bosses. Melee is also one of the first combat systems you are introduced to when learning skills on tutorial island. Whether you want to grab a whip or use a sword, melee is extremely useful. We’re not here wanting to learn about which weapons are the best to use. This article is all about defense and this is the best non-degradable armor you can use when training melee. The Anima Core of Zaros is a three-piece set that can be activated once you have the Crest of Zaros. To obtain this crest you need to get it in a drop from the dungeon boss, Vindicta.

Best non-degradable armor in RuneScape: Range Armor

We’re going to be biased here and say that range is the best skill. The best moment was reaching 99 range and throwing a house party, which sadly, isn’t as popular as it used to be. Back in the day, Armadyl armor was the best armor to use for the range. You also looked pretty incredible as you’re wielding your crystal bow, while wearing, the robin hood hat and shoes. Combined with the range cape? *Chefs kiss*. Today, just as above, we’re looking at The Anima Core of Zamorak. All hail Zamorak. The best God. If you have the extra coin you might want to look into Pernix armor. Similar to the other armor pieces you will need the Crest of Zamorak, which can be dropped, by Nymora and Avaryss in the dungeon.
