It’s been shown time and time again that Roblox games are ever-changing and updating. Pet Simulator X, a game where you open proverbial loot boxes to acquire pets, has pushed out a new update. This update has brought a new acronym to the game, one that has players a bit confused. Aside from the fact that the game has the main issue with every Roblox game, this new feature they added along with the phrase has brought more questionable tactics to a mainly children’s video game. Let’s crack it open, and answer the question: what is RAP in Pet Simulator X?
What is RAP in Pet Simulator X? Answered
When looking at the game as a whole, the entire basis of the game hinges on the idea of opening the eggs, and collecting the pets to then sell. The more pets you get, the more you can sell, and then the more eggs you can buy to get better pets. However, this new mechanic the developers have added has added an extra extension to the buying and selling of the pets.

When you sell a Huge or Titanic pet in Pet Simulator X, you will now have a RAP, or recent auction prices, attached to that pet. If you sell multiple of the same pet, then the RAP will be the average price that your pet was sold for.
It seems though, that the devs have their focus elsewhere, as they have been selling real life plushies of the Huge and Titanic pets, some of them reaching supposed prices of $250 for the Titanic plushies. It’s clear where there priorities are, as if you were one of the people to buy these extremely limited souvenirs, you would also get a code for the exact pet in game. One could surmise that the more expensive plushies, yield a more expensive pet in game. And if you’re looking to increase your RAP, then these physical items would help, if you were one of the very few to get them.
