What is a Customs Union in Victoria 3?
In essence, forming a Customs Union is like taking another country under your wing. One nation will take another, probably smaller nation and pool their economies together. In doing so, the smaller nation can benefit from the larger’s economic factors, and the larger can reinforce its own economy as well. It might not be something you’re racing to try, but if you find yourself in need of an economic stimulant, or if you are the larger nation looking to form an alliance, it might be worth a shot!

How to Form a Customs Union in Victoria 3?
So, you’re ready to form a Customs Union, huh? If so, it’s really as simple as making a proposal! Alas, you can’t force another country to go along with a Customs Union proposal — unless you take it over … but that’s another topic entirely. But, should the opposing country agree to the proposal, then you’ll be free to start your brand new Customs Union. It should also be mentioned that it doesn’t need to just be two countries — you can have more nations jump into the Union. But, only one country can lead the Union. Keep that in mind as you proceed, and you’ll soon have the strongest economy of the 19th century!
