Hunt: Showdown has plenty of points worth noting that are displayed across its darkly lit and brooding menu screens. Case in point, the Clean Sweep that players should actively aim for in each and every battle. But you may be wondering what exactly that is, so here’s the answer is great, gruelling detail.
What is a Clean Sweep in Hunt: Showdown?
We shall start from the top. The Clean Sweep appears on the results screen of any given match – as long as the player has achieved its one and only criteria. This will appear as an Accolade card. No matter which mode, be it quickplay or hunt, these will appear upon extracting or exiting the game (this will not happen if the player loses connection or is kicked however). The only reason these cards will show up is if you have a Bounty on hand upon leaving the game.
These Accolade cards are therefor linked to the Bounty, being that these are the rewards given to you for achieving certain feats when taking or banishing the Boss. To go even further into detail, this screen always shows the 5 top cards you have obtained. The rest can be checked via the ‘Show Mission Details’ option.
The Clean Sweep category belongs to each Boss – the Butcher, the Spider, the Assassin, and the combinations of extracting with two of them from a single map. A singular one rewards the player with 25 bounty, and a double/combined one rewards them with 50 bounty. Bounty can be used when putting the in-game currency towards any items that kits out their Hunters from the wide range of weapons and tools.
To go back to the original question, the answer is simple: find, kill and banish the corresponding Boss, then extract with its bounty.
