What Can You Do at the Dark Mirrors in Moonscars?

The mirror of the soul turns out to be mirror after all.

Moonscars is a punishingly hard soulslike sidescroller that puts the player a hair’s breadth from death at every corner. You will receive little in terms of help throughout your hellish plunge through the game, but, like in all soulslikes, there is one constant. The Dark Mirrors represent safety, solace, transportation, and, most importantly, help. Here is everything the Dark Mirrors can help you with.

Learn

Dark Mirrors also allow you to learn new Witcheries. Witcheries are essentially magical powers that you can unlock and upgrade, and you do this through a tree system.

Clay Rite

Clay Rites offer passive bonuses that will remain active until you next interact with a Dark Mirror.

Each bonus will require one gland, and you will benefit from it even through death. Be careful when applying these, as glands aren’t exactly common and you won’t be able to interact with a Dark Mirror else you forfeit your bonuses.

Weapon Rite

Weapon Rites allow you to change your Special Weapon.

It costs a hefty 3 glands, but you can change your weapon without having to fight an evil doppelganger. A change in weapon allows a change in Special Attack and bonus, which could be vital in case you are after a specific attack to assist with a boss fight.
