In Booga Booga Reborn, you are tasked with surviving a harsh and mysterious land. You need to hunt, grow, cook, and scavenge as you upgrade your gear and fend of other players. You need to be smart about your exploration so you don’t get caught short by hunger or another player. But if you do go exploring, you may have bumped into those strang Maui totems, all of them being a ‘God’. What are these Gods in Booga Booga Reborn? What do they do?
What the Gods are in Booga Booga Reborn
In Booga Booga Reborn, there are five Gods, all scattered around. The Lonely God, the Miserable God, the Wealthy God, the Old God, and the Hateful God. They are all inanimate statues, each with a slight variation on how they look. They are not hostile whatsoever, however the players around them might be.
In terms of lore, there is absolutely no story on what they are exactly, why they are revered as ‘Gods’, nor where they came from. All we know is their practical implementation in the game. Throughout the Booga Booga variations, there have been many types of Gods, but only five remain in Booga Booga Reborn.
The purpose of the Gods
From a practical standpoint, the Gods are meant as challenging objects that the players need to destroy, to reap rewards unique to the Gods. Some offer meteorite storms with valuables inside, and others offer insane amounts of XP. So much so, that higher level players will integrate a God or two into their XP farms.

Each God has a very high health pool, and you will need certain pickaxe qualities to break through them, else you will do no damage. Once broken, the Gods will respawn after a moderate amount of time.
The Gods may be a competitive space if more than one unaligned players want to horde the rewards for themselves. Expect other players to be protecting their chosen God. You had better be prepared if you are planning on taking one down.
