However, of all the available games, there are a handful that stand far above the rest. So, here are the best games available on Apple Arcade.

What Are the Best Games on Apple Arcade?

#5 – Crossy Road Castle

Crossy Road Castle is a spinoff of the timeless arcade classic, Crossy Road. However, instead of following the traditional method of having to cross a road. You now must scale up endless amounts of floors in an ever-growing castle. All while collecting coins and dodging dangerous obstacles. Such as massive boulders, spikes and a river filled with lava! It’s an incredibly simple concept but still presents more than enough of a challenge to keep you intrigued for hours.

#4 – ChuChu Rocket! Universe

ChuChu Rocket! Universe is a surprisingly challenging and addictive puzzle game created by Sega. As a sequel to Sega Dreamcast, ChuChu Rocket! Universe follows a similar premise. In which players must guide their little mouse-like ChuChus to safety before they get eaten by the evil space cats! Much like its predecessor, ChuChu Rocket! Universe carries a very simple design. Yet, it features some of the most complex brain twisters imaginable. Including over 100 intricate puzzles spread out across a variety of extravagant galaxies.

#3 – Grindstone

Dungeons, creepy monsters, powerful items, gory kills and it’s all animated? What’s not to love about Grindstone. This incredibly satisfying matching puzzle game is far more than meets the eye. Challenging players to battle through the deepest depths of Grindstone’s dungeons to loot resources and uncover long-lost blueprints of powerful gear. All while executing any dungeon dwellers that get in your way. With endless rewards and numerous levels to complete, Grindstone is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining games on Apple Arcade.

#2 – What The Golf?

Labelled as “the golf game for people who hate golf”, What The Golf? Follows the same principles of real-life Golf; just get the ball in the hole. However, oftentimes your golf ball won’t be a golf ball at all. It could be a soccer ball, a chair, a couch or even a pile of golf clubs. Not only that, but you might even come across some exotic animals flying overhead or even your casual explosion. It’s a retro-style arcade game with tons of wild turns, making it far more entertaining than your average game of golf and easily one of the more brilliant games on Apple Arcade.

#1 – Cat Quest II

Have you ever wondered what happens when you mix cats with Skyrim? Well, essentially you get Cat Quest II. Basically, it’s a 2D open-world ARPG set in a fantasy realm filled with cats and dogs. Following the story of two kings (one cat and one dog) brought together against their will, who now need to work together to reclaim their respective thrones. Throughout the game, players must adventure through vast and uncovered lands, using powerful melee weapons and magic to take out any colorful animals and scary monsters that get in their way. The best part about Cat Quest II is that you can have just as much fun playing the game even after you’ve completed the main campaign.

That completes our list of the best games on Apple Arcade. Don’t forget to check out our guides section for more breakdowns of other popular gaming titles.
