Top 5 Meta Decks in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Ranked

Shaddoll

A deck that focuses on fusion summoning, Shaddoll has been an extremely competitive deck since the Structure Deck Shaddoll Showdown came out on the European market on February 20. Today it’s no different! El Shaddoll fusions completed stall your opponent into making any plays making this a super fun control deck. Many fusions such as El Shaddoll Apkallone and El Shaddoll Construct negate effects and destroy special summoned monsters! To further add, El Shaddoll Winda restricts your opponent to making only 1 special summon per turn! This is also a great deck for any returning players as it fully focuses on the fusion summon mechanic, which has been in Yu-Gi-Oh! for over 20 years!

Floowandereeze

Want to confuse your opponent with an endless normal summons? Floowandereeze is the deck for you! A winged-Beast type deck, cards like Floowandereeze & Empen and Floowandereeze & Snow completed shut down decks who heavily rely on their Extra Deck! Be sure to pair up these scary birds with Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds to completely shut off your opponent from Special Summons altogether.

Evil Twin

A combo deck revolving around Link monster Evil Twin Ki-sikil and Evil Twin Lil-La, this deck always ensures you that they come back to the field and replenish their effects! Making it extremely difficult for your opponent to take your Life Points to 0! Always good to combine this deck with the Adventure Token archetype and Destiny Hero – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer to give yourself more leeway and a backup plan in case of cards that restrict you from Link summoning like Dimensional Barrier.

Swordsoul Tenyi

A unique strategy, Swordsoul monsters use their effects to special summon out Tuner Tokens to then create powerful synchro monsters such as Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign – Chengying and Swordsoul Grandmaster – Chixiao. Not only that, but you can also include the notorious Barrone de Fleur in order to make it one of the most balanced decks in terms of control and combo!

Prank Kids

From something named prank kids, you expect small, cute, cuddly-looking characters who are perfect for any trading card game. Prank Kids take this to a whole new level as these little fellas pack some punch! From the adorable Prank-Kids Dropies and Prank-Kids Lampsies, to the intimidating Fusion monsters Prank-Kids Rocket Ride and Prank-Kids Battle Butler, this archetype has everything and with the Adventure Token cards, we truly think this is the best deck currently in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
