Practice Parring
No matter how much more powerful your opponent is, or how weak you are, parrying will always help you. The great equalizer, a well timed parry will stun even the strongest of foes, giving you a window to completely destroy them.
Make sure to have rounds where you simply go about parrying. Keep practicing, no matter how futile. Over time, you’ll be able to time your parries against any weapon, against any opponent. And as soon as that happens, there is little they can do against you as you stun them time after time. All they can do is sit back and get slaughtered by you.
Parrying is such a useful move that you cannot neglect it. Even if you don’t master it, become well-versed in the use of it, as it will save your life almost every time.
Experiment with your weapons
What seperates a swordsman and a good swordsman, is the knowledge of the weapon. Experiment and practice with light and heavy weapons to see which you prefer. When you have found your chosen type, then you will find combat a lot more enjoyable and skilled, as you employ techniques that are comfortable to you.

There is hardly anything worse than playing with a weapon you’re uncomfortable with. Additionally, choosing the loadout that suits you perfectly will mean that it doesn’t limit you, so any death cannot be blamed on a bad loadout. That way you’ll be able to more accurately diagnose where you went wrong for future battles.
Timing your explosives
Explosives are fantastic in Combat Warriors, but each behaves differently. Aside from simply practicing with them, you must note that simply lobbing your explosives around won’t do you any favours. Find the weaknesses of each explosive and turn them into strengths.
For example, the Molotov does not have great range. So, instead of trying to throw it at people, and most likely missing them, make sure to throw it on the ground behind you as you are running away from an opponent. They will run straight through the flames and have to back off, or get considerably weakened if they don’t outright die.
The weakness with the grenade is that the fuse is rather long, so enemies will clear if they see a grenade coming. So, try to aim for a spot that closer to you than the targets. The grenade will hit the floor but roll on over to them. By the time they’ve seen the grenade, the fuse will have already ran out and they’ll get hit.
Strategies like this will significantly damage opponents and maybe safe your life. This sort of thinking is applicable to any sort of weapon in the game, too.
