Best Perks in PROJECT: PLAYTIME

With a total of 9 Perks available to upgrade in the game, you must spend your Toy Tickets wisely. Whether you are playing to be the sole survivor at the end of the game or being a true team player. These are the best Perks to upgrade in PROJECT: PLAYTIME to give you the highest chance of winning the game. PROJECT: PLAYTIME requires teamwork in order to outwit the Playtime Monsters. You must focus on how to solve puzzles efficiently whilst simultaneously helping out your teammates around you. Keep in mind that with every teammate taken to the Feeding Pit, the Monster is one step closer to capturing you.

Playtime Perk No.1: Master Pianist

The Piano Puzzle is the longest puzzle to complete on the pillars. The reason for this is that you have to input a colour sequence a total of 5 times. The piano keys are shown slowly for players to remember. It is no surprise that this is the slowest puzzle to complete. By fulling upgrading the Master Pianist Perk, the piano patterns are reduced to just 2 to input. This will massively increase the speed in which a player completes this puzzle. Divide the attention between pillars across the team. You can complete a puzzle pillar quicker with this upgrade maxed out. An even better play is to focus on completing all Piano Puzzles around the map. So that these can be completed very early in the match.

Whilst the Memory Puzzle appears harder, those who have played a few matches will get used to executing this puzzle. However, there is no way for you (without the Perk) to quickly solve the Piano Puzzle. No matter how much you are used to completing them. So that is why the Master Pianist Perk is so important in PROJECT: PLAYTIME. We recommend for players getting started to invest their Toy Tickets in the Master Pianist Perk.

Playtime Perk No.2: Power Walker

The next Perk that players must upgrade is the Power Walker Perk. Unlike the Master Pianist Perk, we recommend players invest all of their Tickets in maxing out the Power Walker Perk. The reason for this is to achieve the 15% Speed Boost from Level 3. This is crucial in evading the Playtime Monsters. With every Monster having the ability to close in on you fast, either by grappling or dashing forward. Players need the edge against these Monsters. This is best by upgrading the Power Walker Perk. No matter whether you are a beginner or an expert at this game. The Power Walker Perk will help you massively in surviving longer in a chase.

By using the Power Walker Perk, you can either act as bait for your teammates or play for revives. Combining this with the Distant Savior Perk will make you an incredibly important teammate. This Perk is also incredibly useful when completing puzzles. Should a Monster try to grab you mid-puzzle, you will have a greater opportunity to escape by upgrading this Perk. This is one of the best Perks, if not the best in PROJECT: PLAYTIME. Do not neglect the Power Walker Perk. Upgrading your speed is more important than your overall health pool.

Playtime Perk No.3: Leadership

The final Perk we recommend players upgrade is the Leadership Perk. This specifically improves the time it takes for yourself and your teammates to regain health. We deem this to be more important than an individual’s overall health pool. Our reasoning for this is that unless you are versing Huggy Wuggy who has mastered his dash attack, players need to take a minimum of 3 hits to get knocked down. This is important to remember for moments when you are standing still, puzzle solving. Theoretically the Leadership Perk is useful only for one player on the team. But a team filled with maxed out Leadership Perks would be unstoppable.

Maxing out this Perk increases the rate of health regeneration to 6% every second. This, alongside the Speed Upgrade is vital in your overall survival in a match. Depending on whichever puzzle you personally struggle to complete quickly may shift your Puzzle Perk decision. However, for basic survival, the Leadership Perk is crucial to have the highest chances of all 6 of your team staying alive at the end of the match. The longer you all survive for, the less chances the Playtime Monster has to grab you all.
