Differences Between Classic & Radical Edition

The special editions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge have been carefully curated by the mad geniuses of Limited Run games to not only provide you with the game itself, but with a myriad of bonus swag good for displaying, playing with, consuming, and just otherwise enjoying the heck out of.

The Classic Edition

For those of you who want some nice displayable merch, more so if you grew up in the era of VHS tapes, the Classic Edition has what you’re looking for. The Classic Edition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge includes:

  • A physical copy of the game on your platform of choice with a reversible cover
  • The official Steelbook
  • An art booklet
  • A VHS tape-shaped box to store the game and Steelbook, plus a slipcover for the box
  • Stickers of the character sprites
  • A coupon for one free personal pan pizza from any Pizza Hut location (yes, really)

The Radical Edition

Perhaps just a few hits of the ol’ nostalgia aren’t enough for you, though. No, you need the good stuff. Well, then the Radical Edition is for you. The Radical Edition includes all of the same stuff as the Classic Edition, as well as:

  • Blister box packaging for displaying the game box (it’s got a hole in the back so you don’t have to tear it open)

The Big Box Edition

Of course, those of us in the PC crowd can’t let the console kids have all the fun. PC players have their own special special edition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the Big Box Edition, meant to evoke the huge boxes PC games used to come in. In addition to the Steelbook, stickers, and pizza coupon from the Classic Edition, the Big Box Edition also features:

Pre-orders for all of these editions will be open on Limited Run‘s website until July 24th, 2022. The Big Box Edition costs $59.99, the Classic Edition costs $64.99, and the Radical Edition costs $199.99. You’d better take good care of all that stuff!
