Survive the Killer is a horror Roblox experience that has taken a lot of inspiration from Dead till Daylight. You will either be a killer or a survivor, each one having different objectives. If you are a killer, you must kill every other player before they escape. If you are a survivor, however, you must escape using every mechanic that you have. You will need to use them all to survive.
Every mechanic explained in Survive the Killer
In Survive the Killer, there are a few mechanics that you’ll need to know about before you play.
Crawling
Crawling is a very important feature that only the survivors can perform. There will be certain access points into rooms that you can only get into if crawling. This provides a way to throw a barrier between you and the killer. To crawl, press ‘ctrl’ if on a computer or pressing the down button if on mobile. You are much slower when crawling, so be careful!
Hiding
There will be plenty of dedicated hiding spots for survivors to run into. These are a great way to stay concealed, but be careful as the killer can check them! Make sure not to trap yourself by hiding, as if the killer catches you in one you will get downed. Make sure to hide only to quickly evade the killer’s line of sight before coming out again.

Reviving
When a player gets hit, they are downed. This will be broadcasted to all other players as a wounded symbol and ‘help me’ will appear above their head and will show through walls. All you need to do is go near a wounded and you will start to revive them. After a short time, they will get back up again. You both will receive a short speed boost and the reviver will gain 5 coins. The person who got revived will receive invulnerability for a short time.
Escaping
You must survive four minutes before the exit doors open. You must simply make your way to an exit to escape. However, the killer can now see where every survivor is, so will try to catch you all before you escape. The exits will be pinpointed to each player through a green escape icon.
