Remnant 2 – How to Find All Keys and Unlock Locked Doors

Part of what makes Remnant 2 a step above it’s predecessor is the amount of exploration in the game. It features a wide variety of biomes and items for players to search and loot. However throughout these maps, there are areas that are locked off. These areas hold wonderous treasures, useful materials, or even shortcuts. And one of the main type of quest items you’ll come across are keys for said areas. Some of these sectors require keys, while require other means. Whatever the case may be, we are going to snag some quest items, and take a look at Remnant 2 – how to find all keys and unlock locked doors.

As we said earlier, keys that will unlock locked doors fall under the quest items category in your inventory. These can be obtained through defeating bosses, progressing through the story, or finding them throughout the world. We’re going to be giving you a list of all the keys you can find in Remnant 2, as well as their location.

If you’ve already started your playthrough, you might notice that the biome you started in might not be the same starting biome for everyone. This is because the game chooses from a few of the available biomes and will randomly place you in one after the prologue. Meaning that some of these items might not be obtainable in your first playthrough, and you will have to re-roll your campaign. With all that out of the way, here is where to find all keys in Remnant 2:

How to Unlock Locked Doors in Remnant 2

Whenever you acquire a key in Remnant 2, the door it unlocks is usually close by. But if you find a door that doesn’t give you a prompt to use a key, you might be out of luck. In Remnant 2, there are sections of the map that loop back around the previously explore areas. These specific doors can only be opened from the other side, and you’ll usually find it after progressing further in the map.
