Your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet adventure will begin with an important choice between three quite different Pokemon: Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Fuecoco.

The decision to pick one of them will be based on your personal preference since each one has its own unique set of advantages and disadvantages. However, you might want to look further than the basic stats of these Pokemon.

Quaxly’s Evolution

Quaxly is a Water-type starter and at level 16 he will have his first evolution to Quaxwell. Once you reach level 36 Quaxwell will automatically enter into the final evolution form – Quaquaval.

Quaquaval is dual-type Pokemon: Water-Fighting type. Quaquaval has Torrent ability which increases Water-type damage by 50% when it is below one-third of its HP. Moxie ability allows Quaquaval to increase its Attack by one stage each time it knocks out another Pokemon.

Quaquaval base stats will be as follows:

HP: 85
Attack: 120
Defense: 80
Special Attack: 85
Special Defense: 75
Speed: 85
