Where to Find Moss Rock in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Players can encounter the Moss Rock fairly early in the game, within a couple of hours of playing. The rock has some hidden powers that Trainers can use to evolve a particular fan-favorite Pokemon. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Moss Rock in Pokemon Legends Arceus, and what you can use it for.

Before diving into where to find the Moss Rock, you may want to go up to Nature’s Pantry and get yourself an Eevee. We’ll explain a bit later on in the guide why that is, but it will come in handy if you want to take advantage of a free Eeveelution! Where to Find Moss Rock in Pokemon Legends Arceus

The Moss Rock is located in the southern region of Obsidian Fieldlands, west of Grandtree Arena. The Moss Rock itself is sitting in the open between a few trees near the water. Upon inspecting the rock, players will see this message: “The surface is covered with moss. Touching it feels good somehow.”

What does the Moss Rock do in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Aside from the message, the Moss Rock has no immediately apparent use. However, any Pokemon veteran will tell you that this rock can certainly come in handy. In fact, if you have an Eevee on your team, you can make great use of this mossy old rock. As long as you and your Eevee have a high enough Friendship Level, you can evolve it into Leafeon while standing next to the rock.

You can simply stand next to the rock and press up on the directional pad to do the evolution. Check your team of Pokemon, and Eevee’s Poke Ball should be glowing yellow, indicating it is ready to evolve. You don’t need to worry about having any specific moves on Eevee or making sure it’s a particular time of day; the Moss Rock overwrites all of that. 

Next, you can hit the evolve button to transform Eevee into Leafeon! It’s a powerful Grass-type that you may get some use out of, and it’s a super-strong Pokemon to have very early on in the game.
