There is an easy way to get Merit Points in Pokemon Legends Arceus. It involves collecting something you may have noticed on your map but not realized.

How to Get Merit Points in Pokemon Legends Arceus

The best way to get Merit Points in Pokemon Legends Arceus is by collecting lost satchels. Open your map in any area, and look for the satchel icon. You can tap on the map with the “A” button and place a flag there, so you can easily navigate to the Lost Satchel.

Pokemon Legends Arceus - Lost Satchel

Go to the pin you just marked to pick up the Lost Satchel. When you find it, walk over to the lost satchel and press “A” to pick it up. You should receive a message saying the satchel has been sent back to its owner, along with a thank you message. We recommend repeating this process for all of the satchels in your current area.

After collecting a few lost satchels, you can press up on the d-pad to open your satchel. Press “ZR” to navigate to the Communications tab, and then go to the Lost & Found section. Tap on the lost satchels you’ve found, and you can turn them in for some Merit Points (MP). Do this process for all of the satchels you’ve found. Keep doing this over and over throughout the game, as it will be your main source of Merit Points!

The lost satchels will keep spawning over time, so there’s really no limit to how many Merit Points you can get. If you want to know where to spend your Merit Points, go back to Jubilife Village and speak with Simona. That’s where you can get items like Evolutions Stones, the Linking Cord, and more!
