Goomy is one of the more popular party member choices in Pokemon Legends Arceus, and many players consider Goodra to be their favorite Dragon-type Pokemon. That said, if you plan on having Goodra in your party, you probably want to catch a Goomy as early as possible. Luckily, you can do it fairly early on in the game. This guide will show you how to get Goomy in Pokemon Legends Arceus and how to evolve it into Goodra.

Where to Find Goomy

Goomy can be found at the Holm of Trials area in the Crimson Mirelands. Around the swampy area, you will also find other Pokemon like Golduck, Petilil, and Carnivine. There is also an Alpha Sliggoo on the small islands in the middle of the swamp.

There is a large river separating the zone where Goomy habitats. For that reason, many people believe you need the Basculegion mount to get to the location. However, using the Wyrdeer mount, you can jump across the river while boosting to get to the specific area with Goomy.

Catching Goomy is relatively simple and the same as any other Pokemon. The Goomy in the Mirelands will be around level 30, so, depending on your level, you can use a basic Poke Ball to catch it with a back strike.

How to Evolve Goomy into Sliggoo and Goodra

Goomy can evolve into Sliggoo at level 40 like in other Pokemon games. Furthermore, Hisuian Sliggoo evolves into Goodra at level 50 in the rain. If you have trouble getting it to rain, you can visit any campsite tent and choose the “rest for a little while” option. Repeat this process until you get weather where it is raining. As long as all of those conditions are met, you should have the option to evolve your Sliggoo into Goodra!
