In Pokemon Legends Arceus, the guardian Pokemon Ursaluna possesses a powerful sense of smell, so much so that it can detect both items buried deep in the ground and people way off in the distance. It’s a very handy tool, especially when someone goes missing in action in a gigantic swamp. Here’s how to complete Gone Astray in the Mirelands in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
After you successfully calm Ursaluna and enlist its aid as a rideable Pokemon during the story, you’ll meet a guy named Zeke next time you return to the Galaxy Team HQ. Zeke is absolutely beside himself because his sister Wanda, a member of the Galaxy Team’s Security Corps, was dispatched to the Crimson Mirelands on recon and nobody’s heard back from her. He offers up her handkerchief, which you give to Ursaluna to help it learn her scent and allow it to track her down.
How to Complete Gone Astray in the Mirelands in Pokemon Legends Arceus
When you get to the Crimson Mirelands, you’ll need to hop on Ursaluna and ride around until you can pick up Wanda’s scent. When Wanda is close by, Ursaluna’s nose radar will switch from yellow to bright blue, indicating that it’s caught her scent. Follow the blue waves, and you’ll find Wanda.
The tricky thing about this quest is that Ursaluna can’t pick up Wanda’s scent unless she’s physically nearby, so if you don’t know where to look, it can make the search much longer. To expedite this, go search for Wanda in the Gapejaw Bog, specifically along its southern side next to the river. Wanda will be under a tree in a panic, so just have a quick chat with her to send her back home.
When you return to Jubilife Village, you’ll find Zeke admonishing Wanda in the Galaxy HQ. Talk to Zeke, and he’ll reward you with three bags of Stardust. He’ll also request that you keep an eye out for Wanda going forward; she’ll go missing again in subsequent game areas, so remember to check in with Zeke when you unlock a new one.
That’s everything you need to know about how to complete Gone Astray in the Mirelands in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
