Alpha Rhyhorn is located east of Diamond Heath in the Crimson Mirelands region. The Crimson Mirelands is the second region you encounter after the Obsidian Fieldlands. Alpha Rhyhorn likes to wander in the open plains, and he’s massive; you can’t miss him. You can also find Onyx, Togetic, and other Pokemon in the same area. Alpha Pokemon are more powerful than the regular Pokemon, and Alpha Rhyhorn is no exception. Fighting him will be difficult so you will want to stay out of his line of sight. Your catch chance will be higher if you sneak up on the Alphas and hit them in the back with the Pokeball. To crouch, press the “B” button, then try to get into some tall grass, or hide behind anything in the area for extra cover. If you mess up and scare Alpha Rhyhorn, he will likely fight you.
