The Dragonspiral Descent event is now officially underway in Pokemon GO. It marks Druddigon’s debut in Pokemon GO, and you can encounter one by completing the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge. And if you’re lucky, you might even find a shiny one! Druddigon is the cave Pokemon who has been known to dwell in Unova region’s Dragonspiral Tower.
Dragonspiral Descent is active from Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Pokemon GO Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge
Here are the requirements to complete the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge in Pokemon GO:
- Catch a Trapinch
- Catch a Mareep
- Catch a Seel
- Catch a Vulpix
- Catch a Dratini
- Catch a Darumaka
- Catch a Blitzle
- Catch a Sneasel
- Catch a Vibrava
- Catch a Dragonair
Rewards: For catching all ten Pokemon, players receive 1000 XP, 3000 Stardust, and a Druddigon Encounter.
The good news is that during the event, all of the following Pokemon appear more frequently in the wild:
- Vulpix
- Seel
- Dratini
- Mareep
- Sneasel
- Trapinch
- Blitzle
- Darumaka
- Dragonair
- Vibrava
- Deino
That means you’re not going to have any problem catching all ten Pokemon for the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge. Dragonair, Vibrava, and Deino will be a bit rare, but it shouldn’t be a problem. If you are having trouble, Sneasel, Vulpix, and Dratini can also be obtained from December’s Field Research tasks, but unfortunately, catching one this way won’t count toward this challenge.
Raids during this event include:
- One-Star Raids: Tynamo, Litwick, Cubchoo, Golett, Deino
- Three-Star Raids: Electabuzz, Magmar, Lapras, Dragonite, Druddigon
- Five-Star Raids: Reshiram, Zekrom
- Mega Raids: Steelix (Mega)
So remember to complete the Pokemon GO Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge within the next few days if you want that Druddigon Encounter! But if you don’t complete the Collection Challenge, you can also encounter Druddigon by finishing the Field Research and taking on those three-star raids!
