How to use the DOTS Projector in Phasmophobia

The DOTS Projector is a new Phasmophobia item introduced in update v0.3.0. It is one of the many devices you can utilize to hunt the paranormal. We will explain Phasmophobia’s DOTS Projector and how you can use it efficiently in this guide.

The DOTS Projector is a device that emits green lasers from it, allowing players to see ghosts and other supernatural silhouettes that move through its path. While the device is active and the green lasers are visible, you may be able to catch a quick glimpse of certain supernatural creatures. You can see the evidence in person or watch it through a video recorder while inside the truck.

Try placing the DOTS Projector in the center of a room on the wall, floor, or ceiling. Aim to cover as much of the room in the green light as possible. Sit tight in a corner while waiting for the silhouette to appear. It’s challenging to spot the movement at times, as you can miss it if you blink or look away for a split second.

However, when you do spot something creepy with the DOTS Projector, you’ll be able to get an idea of which direction it went and potentially what type of supernatural creature it is. Currently, the DOTS Projector can detect Banshees, Goryo, Oni, Phantoms, Yurei, Yokai, and Wraiths.

As with all aspects of this game, it can be absolutely terrifying when something shows itself and flies through your peripheral vision. Remember, the paranormal stuff moves quickly, so pay attention when you have the DOTS Projector active in Phasmophobia, or you could miss your opportunity.
