Persona 3 Portable (P3P) Treasure Hand Weaknesses and Counters

Who knew the hardest enemies in this game are free floating walking gloves.

Throughout your time traversing the depths of Tartarus, fellow SEES members will want to keep an eye out for specific golden enemies. These enemies look identical to the normal ones, except they are a shiny gold color instead of black. These bad boys are an absolute pain to even catch, much less defeat in battle. It’s not impossible however, and if you have a decent amount of stealth, skill, and luck, you might be able to defeat them for amazing rewards. Let’s turn our clocks to midnight and take a look at Persona 3 Portable (P3P) Treasure Hand weaknesses and counters.

In order to even get into a fight with one of these guys, you’re going to need to pull out your best Solid Snake impression. These Treasure Hands are extremely skittish, and catching a glimpse of you will cause them to run away. They won’t de-spawn until they run into a wall, but they are faster than you are and will most likely out-run you and your party. There are a couple of options that you have for approaching these gloved combatants. The first one is as we mentioned, be very quiet and slowly walk up behind them until you can attack them and start the encounter. Alternatively, once you spot a Treasure Hand, you can command your teammates to explore. Doing this in front of the hand will start the encounter with your NPC teammate, allowing you to safely walk up and join the fight.

Making your way through the many floors of the Arqa block, you’ll be spending a decent amount of time farming for XP, money, or in this case, treasure hands. Sadly, these grippy monstrosities won’t be going down without a fight. Their version of fighting however normally involves running away, as that will be how you mostly lose out on defeating them. This is compounded with the fact that Treasure Hands don’t have any elemental weaknesses, and their agility and luck stats are maxed out to 99. Once you get into a fight with them, don’t waste your SP. Instead, pray for good RNG and attack with your normal attacks. If the glove doesn’t run away too quickly you should be able to take it down.
