Omega Strikers: Best Builds for Juno – Strategies, Tricks, and Tips

It's slime time.

It’s a well-documented fact that a great way to attract people to your anime or game is to put a slime girl in it. There are a variety of reasons for this, many of which I choose not to share in polite company, but it’s also because people like monster girls and slimes, in particular, are cute. Omega Strikers’ Juno certainly fits that bill to a tee. Here’s a guide to using Juno in Omega Strikers.

Omega Strikers: Best Builds for Juno – Strategies, Tricks, and Tips

Juno, AKA the Curious Explorer, is a tactical Forward, requiring a pinch of placement and foresight. Her gimmick is that her abilities place little slime buddies on the field, which can grab and spit the core. With a bit of pinball wizardry, you can set up elaborate trick shots, bouncing the core from slime to slime until it reaches the goal.

Juno’s kit includes the following abilities:

  • Primary: Friend Fling: Launch a medium hit blob in a straight line. On impact with an opponent or at max range, it transforms into a slime buddy.
  • Secondary: Blob Bounce: Create a slime at your feet and bounce off it to another part of the field. While you’re airborne, you have the Elusive buff, making you invincible and immune to ability targeting.
  • Special: Make It Rain: Launch a giant blob into the sky. After a moment, it breaks up and rains down on the targeted area. One slime buddy will be created for every opponent in the targeted area.

Success with Juno is all about coordination, not just with your slime buddies, but with the rest of your team. Your teammates can also launch the core at your slimes for chaining shots, but only if the slime is realistically in their line of sight. It falls to you, then, to properly set up your slimes in the right spot around the field. With a bit of ingenuity, you can set up your slimes in both a handy pinball machine for your teammates and a nebulous minefield for your opponents. You can really ruin someone’s day by setting up your slimes in front of the opposing goal, which both makes it easier to make goal shots and harder for the Goalie to attend it.

Juno does her best work as a midfield Forward, particularly with these Trainings:

  • Extra Special: Reduces Special cooldown by 15%. Knocks 15 seconds off Special cooldown when a new round starts.
  • Rapid Fire: Reduces Primary cooldown by 12%, up to 25% at max level.
  • Crossover: All Strikes apply a 35% Haste buff for 1.5 seconds.

Juno can also be a decent Goalie, setting up her slimes to guard the whole goal at once, though this takes a bit more micromanaging. For this approach, use these Trainings:

  • Extra Special: Reduces Special cooldown by 15%. Knocks 15 seconds off Special cooldown when a new round starts.
  • Rapid Fire: Reduces Primary cooldown by 12%, up to 25% at max level.
  • Creator of Large Things: All created objects and entities are 50% larger and hit 5% harder.

If you’re the kind of player who doesn’t mind micromanaging a gaggle of minions to set up the best offense, you’ll have a lot of fun with Juno. Plus, y’know, she’s cute. Can’t go wrong with the cute slime girl.
