Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds: How to Get Diamonds

Cross Worlds has its own multi-tiered currency system.

You know, the first person to think of a mobile game with multiple currencies really should’ve patented the idea, because they’d probably be a multi-millionaire with how ubiquitous the practice has become.

Speaking of which, Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds has its own multi-tiered currency system, and at the top of it are Diamonds. Here’s how to get Diamonds in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds.

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds: How to Get Diamonds

Diamonds are your highest-level currency in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, used for purchasing rare items, summoning new Familiars, and generally upgrading your abilities. As you may expect, you can purchase large quantities of Diamonds at once with real-world money, but not everyone has the disposable income for that. Luckily, there are a couple of ways you can earn Diamonds in-game.

Familiar Expeditions

When you send a team of your Familiars off on an exploration mission, you may occasionally come across a large, blue stone jutting out of the ground. These big rocks can be mined for a modest payout of Diamonds, though before you can do that, you’ll need to defeat the other team of familiars that guard it.

Level Milestones

Doing a lot of leveling up? Get paid for it! Every time you cross certain level thresholds, you’ll receive a lump payout of helpful items and materials, Diamonds included. For example, when you hit level 60, you’ll get a payout of 1,000 Diamonds, and when you hit level 100, you’ll get a payout of 2,000 Diamonds. Obviously, you’ll need to do a lot of grinding to redeem these, but at least you’ll be getting Diamonds at semi-regular intervals.

Labyrinth of Dreams

The Labyrinth of Dreams is a level-based gauntlet of battles and challenges that reward Diamonds when completed with exemplary skill. You can check the rewards of a particular level of the Labyrinth before starting it, and if you ace the challenge presented, you’ll earn your reward, usually around 50 Diamonds or so per level.

Of course, buying Diamond bundles in the shop is still the easiest and most consistent way to get Diamonds, but if you’re committed to being a free player, you do have avenues to get some Diamonds, grindy though they may be. It’s a mobile game, you know how it is.
