New World players looking to complete their level 60 quests to forge endgame gear like Twilight’s Fall will need to complete a long series of quests. These quests involve venturing all over Aeternum in search of rare materials. One such quest in the Twilight’s Fall line asks players to complete Scorpius, which entails defeating three Scorpii Pluton. These can be a bit difficult to locate, so here’s a guide on where to find Scorpii Pluton in New World.
Scorpius is a quest in New World that includes the following objectives:
- Defeat 3 Scorpii Pluton
- Scrape 8 Defiled Altars for Corrupted Blood
Where to find Scorpii Pluton in New World
To find Scorpii Pluton, you will need to head to Scorpius, a marked location in northeast Mourningdale. The Scorpii Pluton is an enemy located on the east side of the area. You can identify this mob-type by looking for the one donning a kite shield. It is a level 50 Gold Elite mob, which means you’ll likely need to be level 60 and decently geared to take it down quickly.
Unfortunately, you need to defeat three of these. In my case, I could not find any other spawns, so I sat at the location shown above and waited for the ten-minute respawn time. If you get to the same location marked above, you can kill this mob, wait ten minutes, kill it, and wait another ten minutes for the final respawn.
You should have three kills racked up at that point, and you will likely have already finished scraping eight defiled pillars. These are glowing blue at various locations around Scorpius if you are having any trouble finding them. After completing the quest, you’ll be sent to acquire some Enchanted Bark in Edengrove.
