Allowing you to alter everything from the lower or base of the shot down to the upper release, blending, and release speed. There are various attributes to consider when constructing a jump shot, including release height, release speed, defensive immunity, and timing impact. Taking this into account, these are the best jump shots in NBA 2K23 to get you closer to reaching the highest green window and making better shots.

  1. Clyde Drexler (Base) – This first jump shot build features a Clyde Drexler base, which offers an A- rating in Release Height, Release Speed, Defensive Immunity, and Timing Impact. However, for it to be effective, you will need to set 100% release speed and minimum animation blending. Your player should also be at least 6’5″ and under 6’10” and either have a mid-range shot rating of 85+ or a three-point shot rating of 85+.

  2. Penny Hardaway (Base) – The next jump shot animation features a Penny Hardaway base, which has one of the highest green windows for timing impact (A+). It also has a B- Release Height, and an A- Defensive Immunity. That being said, to have success with this animation, you will need to set the release speed to 100% and animation blending to a minimum. Your player should also be under 6’10” and have a mid-range shot rating of 83 or higher or a three-point shot rating of 83 or higher.

  3. Shawn Marrion (Base) – The final jump shot animation on our list features a Shawn Marrion base, which has one of the more well-rounded stat lines available. Ignoring the release height (D+), this animation will provide an A- in Defensive Immunity, and A’s in both Release Speed as well as Timing Impact. Although, to have success with this animation, you will need to set the release speed to 100% and the animation blending to a minimum. Also, your player should be at least 6’5″ but less than 6’10” and either have a mid-range shot of 84+ or a three-point shot of 84+.
