MW2: Best Gyro-Aiming Settings

Things are cooking on PS5.

If anything can be said about Activision and Infinity Ward’s last update to the Call of Duty franchise, it’s that Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 really have innovated how we know Call of Duty. And nothing can be closer to the truth than with a special feature that players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 have exclusive access to; gyro-aiming.

It’s something we’ve seen before in games for the Nintendo Switch’s controllers, as well as the PlayStation Move accessories, but it’s never been something Call of Duty has seen outside of older Wii ports. But how do you get it to work? Well, today we’re going to lay out the best gyro-aiming settings for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0, as well as explain how to get them enabled.

MW2: Best Gyro-Aiming Settings

The settings we’ve chosen are for ADS only, as we found that gyro-aiming is really only good for controlling the recoil of guns via your controller, and not much else.

  • Gyro Behavior – ADS Only
  • Gravity Vector – On
  • Gyro Sensitivity Horizontal – 0
  • Gyro Sensitivity Vertical – 15
  • Gyro Horizontal Inversion – Off
  • Gyro Vertical Inversion – Off

  • From there, head down to the Controller option.
  • Once you’re in the Controller screen, you’ll want to hit R1 to swap over to the Advanced Tab.
