Today we’re going to be looking at how you can get Mud Blocks in Minecraft: The Wild update.

Minecraft – The Wild Update: How to Get Mud Blocks

Unfortunately, there are just two ways to find Mud Blocks in Minecraft: The Wild update. The first is by searching for them in the Mangrove Swamp biome. Which is a new biome that was introduced in the 1.19 update and is the only region in Minecraft that features this muddy substance.

However, this can also be quite time-consuming. Once you’ve found the Mangrove Swamp, you will need to look around for these darker colored blocks scattered around the area.

The second (and much faster) method is to create Mud Blocks yourself. To do this, you must;

  1. Craft a Glass Bottle using Glass Blocks.
  2. Fill your Glass Bottle up with water.
  3. Interact with any Dirt Block to turn it into Mud.

Splashing water onto a Dirt Block is probably the easiest way to obtain Mud Blocks in the game because you can do it anywhere in the world. You can then place the block into your inventory and use it to create various items. Including Clay, Packed Mud, Mud Bricks, and Muddy Mangrove Roots, just to name a few.
