So, here is everything you need to know about how to find the Ancient City in the Minecraft: The Wild update.

How to Find the Ancient City in Minecraft: The Wild

Tons of features were introduced in the 1.19 The Wild update, and most of them are centered around the Deep Dark biome. Which is a dark and spooky underground area that’s home to some incredibly rare items. Specifically, sculk-related blocks, such as sculk shriekers, sculk sensors and sculk catalysts.

This particular biome also features a unique structure that’s completely new to Minecraft called the Ancient City. Making these deep dark biomes one of the more highly sought-after areas of the game.

However, not only are deep dark biomes difficult to find but not all of them will contain Ancient Cities either. Even though these structures will spawn exclusively inside of deep dark biomes, there is no guarantee that any one, in particular, will have an Ancient City inside.

That being said, it’s said that this palatial structure can be found around Y level -52. This should give you an idea of how deep you will need to venture into a cave before you can find one of these hidden Ancient Cities.

So, the best thing you can do is find a cave, head down to that level and start mining until you begin so see sculk. If you come across a deep dark biome at a higher location, then this means you will need to dig further down to find an Ancient City.
