Madden 23 – Why aren’t my starters playing in Franchise Mode?

The developers have added multiple new features which make the game more realistic. One of the features in the Franchise Mode is Progressive Fatigue. The feature helps imitate the real-world scenario of professional players getting fatigued after consecutive games.

While the idea is great, the implementation has not been very smooth from the developers. The fatigue option doesn’t work well and even affects the players who are fresh. This causes immense problems for users who are managing teams and players the right way and are not able to play fresh players.

The best way to deal with Progressive Fatigue is to turn it off completely. Follow the steps below to turn off the feature.

  • Go to the Gear Icon on the main menu.
  • Now select Game Options.
  • Scroll down and find Fatigue under Player Sliders.
  • To disable Fatigue, drag down the slider to zero.

That’s the easiest way to deal with the starters not playing in the games.
