With Madden 22 set to release in less than a month, the game’s highly-anticipated ratings rollout is officially underway. Part of EA’s partnership with ESPN includes a week-long reveal of all the Madden 22 ratings, and after revealing the top rookie ratings, EA quickly turned its attention to the wide receivers.
We already covered the Rookie Ratings reveal from Madden 22, but this time around, we’ll be taking a look at the top wide receiver ratings. As well as the first player from the game’s illustrious “99-Club’.
Madden 22 Top Wide Receivers and First ’99-Club’ Member Revealed
The initial major reveal was the first member of Madden’s exclusive ’99-Club’, with the Green Bay Packers wide receiver, Devante Adams, reclaiming his throne with yet another 99-overall rating.
EA also surprised the young superstar during a live golf event with a special gift package that contained a fresh ’99’ necklace and a personalized note from John Madden himself.
However, another major revelation came in the wide receiver department, with the top ten wide-receivers in Madden 22 being announced as follows:
- Davante Adams (99) – Green Bay Packers
- DeAndre Hopkins (98) – Arizona Cardinals
- Tyreek Hill (98) – Kansas City Chiefs
- Stefon Diggs (97) – Buffalo Bills
- Julio Jones (95) – Tennessee Titans
- Michael Thomas (96) – New Orleans Saints
- Keenan Allen (93) – Los Angeles Chargers
- Amari Cooper (92) – Dallas Cowboys
- Mike Evans (91) – Tampa Bay Buccanneers
- Allen Robinson (90) – Chicago Bears
Madden 22 also posted their schedule for the upcoming rating reveals later this week;
- Tuesday, July 27: The Top 10 Defensive Linemen will be announced by Vince Wilfork on First Take, and the Top 10 Edge Rushers will be revealed later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
- Wednesday, July 28: The Top 10 Running Backs will be announced by Marshawn Lynch on First Take, and the full Running Back ratings will be revealed later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
- Thursday, July 29: The Top 10 Safeties will be announced by Ed Reed, with the additional Safety ratings being revealed later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
- Friday, July 30: The Top 10 Quarterbacks will be revealed by Alex Smith on First Take, with additional ratings coming later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
