In Madden 21, your avatar only meant something if you played around in ‘The Yard’ since your created player couldn’t transfer into any other part of the game, like ‘Franchise’ or ‘Face of the Franchise.’ However, in Madden 22, your avatar can now transfer over into all parts of the game (online, offline, franchise, etc.). As exciting as this may be, players have struggled to find any information online on how to edit their avatar in Madden 22.
To fully immerse yourself into the world of Madden, you’ll want to know how to go about it. So, with Madden 22 now in the hands of most football fans, it’s time to take a closer look at how to edit your avatar in the game.
How to Edit Your Avatar in Madden 22
In order to edit your avatar in Madden 22, you will need to start by pressing on the touchpad, and go to ‘edit avatar.’ Once you’re at this menu, you’ll have the option to change your avatar’s loadout options in ‘The Yard’ (jersey combinations), as well as your player’s physical appearance and information. You can edit everything from the face templates for your avatar, down to their hometown and even hand preference.
Madden 22 also introduces a new option for players to choose the specific type of physique they want their avatar to have; Balanced, Bruiser, or Agile. However, you won’t have the option to change your avatar’s height or weight once you decide from the initial templates and player builds.
One especially unique feature about Madden 22’s avatars is that players will now be allowed to carry their avatars from the console version to the mobile version. So, now you can build up your Madden player at home or while you’re on the road.
