Unrailed! is a hit party game of laying track before a moving train, just like that old cartoon trope, except now you have to even build the track yourself. And prevent it from getting caught on fire. And build bridges over water. And not go mad in the process. With more hands, the behemoth task of sourcing raw materials, building tracks, and laying bridges becomes much more manageable, and much more fun as the game ranks up in difficulty.
Unrailed! is available on many platforms, the PC, the Nintendo Switch, Playstation, and Xbox. With such a large range of devices, the game can reach a multitude of players. Unrailed! players also enjoy the benefit of local and online multiplayer, allowing them to be selective of who they build tracks with. Is Unrailed! Cross Platform?
All you train enthusiasts will be delighted to hear that Unrailed! is in fact cross-platform. Better yet, it is cross-platform across all devices, and has been since the update in late 2020. Any online game you play will be automatically cross-platform, and there is no way to disable that feature in options.
This means that it is easier than ever to connect and play with your pals seamlessly! If you all enable checkpoints, then you can all play the same save until the dawn of time. Or better yet, you could all battle each other in the versus mode and test out to see if any console has any advantage over the over to use as constant excuses in later games.
