Time’s up Sega! Sonic is here. Having released pretty recently, Sonic Frontiers is already leaving a mark on the franchise. Furthermore, there appears to be no consensus regarding the game’s quality. In one hand, some regards this game as a throwback to the golden days of the franchise. In the other hand, some detect the same formula that has brought shame, despair and a few tears (me included) for all the blue hedgehog fans. Having said that, a considerable amount of people are wondering whether Sonic’s new adventure is or will be available on Game Pass. That’s just the go-to question nowadays. Is Sonic Frontiers on Game Pass?
There has been evidence that a game releasing on Game Pass is beneficial for both the developer and the subscription system itself. However, when dealing with huge multi-platform game releases, usually they are not included in the service. This may be due to contractual issues, no interest on any of the parties, or even a company lobbying for a game not to be included in the service (I’m not going to mention any names, but it rhymes with Tony). Unfortunately, for Sonic fans, Sonic Frontiers is not available on Game Pass.
The only way you’re going to be able to play the game is to purchase it at full price. That is 59.99 dollars in every platform. Though we cannot confirm that the game won’t be available on Game Pass in the future, at least for now you will have to invest a little bit to discover Sonic’s brand-new adventure. Give it a try and enjoy battling iconic enemies and running at the speed of light.
