Is Eternatus in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

A lot of fans are asking themselves if this legendary Pokemon will make its appearance.

Eternatus is a Pokemon first introduced in the 8th generation game – Pokemon Sword/Shield and a lot of fans are excited to see if it will make a comeback in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Will there be an Eternatus in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Even though Eternatus is still not in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there are some indications that he will make an appearance. Eternatus, alongside some other Pokemon, has been found in the game data leading players to believe that its comeback is real.

Whether Eternatus will just be just an opponent you will be fighting against, or a Pokemon anyone can catch is still unknown.

Eternatus might become available when Pokemon HOME connectivity arrives, but that hasn’t been confirmed so far.

Facts about Eternatus

However, if Eternatus pops up in the near future you would like to be prepared for it. Eternatus is an S-tier Poison/Dragon-type Gigantic Pokemon. It has resistance to Fire, Water, Electric, Fighting, Grass, Bug, and Poison types and weaknesses against Ice, Psychic, Dragon, and Ground types.

The best nature to have with Eternatus is Moderate nature because it adds 10% to his already strong Special attack while taking away 10% from his regular attack. It doesn’t evolve and its main ability is Pressure, that allows Eternatus to put pressure on the opposing Pokemon and raise its PP usage.

Eternatus stats are as follows:

  • Hit Points: 140
  • Attack: 85
  • Defense: 95
  • Special attack: 145
  • Special defense: 95
  • Speed: 130
  • Total: 690
