If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to rule the world, Civilization VI might be the perfect game for you. In this turn-based strategy game, hashing it out with prominent historical figures while manifesting your leadership skills as you guide your civilization through technological and cultural advancements. Be a gentle leader, or rule your empire with an iron fist in Sid Meier’s masterpiece.
The developers of Civilization VI offered several expansion packs since its release on October 21, 2016. Those DLC packs include Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm. The newest expansion pack, the Leader Pass, gives players tons of goodies to explore, but many fans are wondering if it’s available on consoles.
Is Civilization VI Leader Pass on Consoles?
No, the Leader Pass is currently not on consoles. According to the official Civilization VI website, the pack is only coming to the Steam, Epic Games, Mac App Store, and iOS versions of Civilization VI.

Leader Pass Details
The Leader Pass will contain six packs that will be released between November 2022 and March 2023, though these dates are subject to change. And the good news gets even better! If you’ve purchased all the content in Anthopology, you’re eligible to get the Leader Pass at no cost for PC.
As far as the contents of the expansion pack, 12 new leaders will join the game along with six reimagined versions of old leaders. Each ruler displays a unique set of abilities that’ll put your world-conquering skills to the test and diversify your gameplay.
Keep in mind that some Leader Pass content requires players to have prior DLC packs, which I’ll elaborate on below.
Here are all the Civilization VI Leader Pass packs with their designated leaders:
- The Great Negotiators Pack: Hone your skills in international negotiation with the Great Negotiators Pack. This pack includes Abraham Lincoln from the United States, Queen Nzinga Mbande from the Kongo, and Sultan Saladin from Arabia.
- The Great Commanders Pack: Strengthen your military with the Great Commanders Pack. This pack contains Tokugawa from Japan, Nader Shah from Persia, and Suleiman the Magnificent from the Ottoman Empire.
- Note: Nader Shah requires the Persia & Macedon Scenario Pack to play. Suleiman the Magnificent requires the Gathering Storm expansion to play.
- The Rulers of China Pack: Reign over as many dynasties as you want in the Rulers of China Pack. It includes Yongle, Qin Shi Huang the Unifier, and Wu Zetian.
- The Rulers of the Sahara Pack: Role with the leaders from the continent that birthed humanity in the Rulers of the Sahara Pack. This pack has Ramses from Egypt, Ptolemaic Cleopatra from Egypt, and King Sundiata Keita from Mali.
- Note: King Sundiata Keita requires the Gathering Storm expansion to play.
- The Great Builders Pack: Build the greatest empire with the Great Builders Pack. This pack welcomes Theodora from the Byzantine Empire, Sejong from Korea, and Ludwig II from Germany.
- Note: Theodora requires the New Frontier Pass and Byzantium & Gaul Pack to play. Sejong requires the Rise & Fall expansion to play.
- The Rulers of England Pack: Enjoy the duties of a sovereign in the Rulers of England Pack, which introduces Elizabeth I from England, Varangian Harald Hardrada from Norway, and Victoria – Age of Steam from England.
