I Promise, I Did Not Spend 15 Hours in an Alien Strip Club in High on Life!

It's Just Another 'Zoo Level,' Isn't It?

It definitely goes without saying, but High on Life is a trip. In-between the intentionally annoying moments and the non-stop disgusting jokes, there are a metric ton of reasons to adore this game. But, as you’re progressing through the story, you might take a glance at the achievement list. And, in so doing, you may notice that you’ve unlocked one that’s called “Spent 15 Hours At The Alien Strip Club.”

But wait — you might be asking — there is no alien strip club in High on Life! To which I say: it’s strange that you’re so confident. Have you been looking for the alien strip club? How come? So you can spend 15 hours there?! Huh?! No, I’m kidding. There is no alien strip club in High on Life. But, if there isn’t, then how do you unlock this achievement, and more importantly, how do you do so unknowingly?

How to Spend 15 Hours in High on Life’s Alien Strip Club

In the near-endgame of High on Life, you’ll head back to Port Terrene (the world where you took on Douglas) to eliminate the G3 cartel’s second-in-command, Nipulon. It’s here where you’ll be forcibly taken on a drug trip, which makes this one of the most frustrating and hilarious fights in the game.

In addition to referencing other boss fights, like the Psycho Mantis fight from Metal Gear Solid, he’ll try and shame the player by unlocking this achievement.

How are you doing? Need some motivation to keep going? How about an award? Here, take this one that says you spent all your in-game play-time at an alien strip club. Oh, that’s permanent, by the way. Everyone on your friends list can see that forever, now.

Nipulon, High on Life

It’s made especially funny because, for Xbox players, the achievement unlocked sound is so celebratory, while the achievement itself is … what it is. Meanwhile on Steam, it’s entirely possible you’d miss seeing this achievement pop. It’s that diminished.
