Hunt: Showdown has a lot of terms and features to represent player progression, a primary one being the Blood Bonds. Quite simply, these are the only in-game currency that the game has to carry out a number of commands to help your overall experience with the game. But other than using your very own money to put towards acquiring them via microtransactions, what is the better, go-to method to find them in the game itself?
How to Get Blood Bonds in Hunt: Showdown
Firstly, Blood Bonds will be necessary to do a number of things. The currency can be put towards cleaning weapons to slightly increase their performance, re-rolling Hunters when recruiting them, removing and implementing Traits and Health bar chunks or unlocking Legendary cosmetics and additional Hunter slots. These will be continuously accumulated for the player despite how slow going it can be. This is because by simply playing the game, Blood Bonds will inevitably be rewarded to you.

Via bonuses and weekly challenges, Blood Bonds will always make their way to you with each given match, even if it is only as little as 5 for each round. This is mostly down to how well players perform in each and every match. This is represented through accolades – achievements made in matches that are showcased via the post-game/end result screen after the extraction or death screens appear. These achievements are represented by cards. They can and will be for a number of achievements for any given match such as banishing certain bosses, killing certain enemies/hunters, extracting within a specific time limit, locating money, fulfilling the contracts and so on.
Each accolade will be numbered from 1 to 3 to indicate the worth of each one;
- 1 Blood Bonds – Bronze
- 2 Blood Bonds – Silver
- 3 Blood Bonds – Gold
Another option to obtain more is through the hidden Masteries achievements list – the game’s optional objectives noted down in the library tab’s book checklists. Remember to also clear the Tutorials and Trials section for some of the easiest, one-time Blood Bonds rewards on each difficulty as well. But if anything, simply perform the very best that you can in each match – Blood Bonds are given out according to the top 5 accolades you get each match only.
