How to Wall Climb in Gorilla Tag

Climb like a real gorilla.

Gorilla Tag is a VR game that will bring out your inner ape, according to its developers. Put in a body of a legless Gorilla, you will use your hands to run, climb, and jump around in numerous games that can be played with others. Tag, infection mode, hunt game mode, and paitbrawl will all challenge you to either dodge, run away from or chase other players.

In order for you to be successful in all game modes this game has to offer, you will need to master wall climbing techniques.

How to Climb Walls in Gorilla Tag?

For an efficient wall climb you will need to understand how the game mechanics work and how you can best take advantage of them. First of all, find a corner in a wall, meaning a point where two walls meet under an angle. You will notice that your hands will stick to the wall by default but that’s just the beginning of it.

You need to have each one of your hands tilted and placed on one of the walls, and kinda shift yourself from one wall to another, like you’re bouncing off of them. This means you never keep both of your hands on the wall at the same time.

You can experiment with how wide or how narrow your hands need to be placed for the fastest climb (that depends on the angle under which the walls meet). It’s not a difficult thing to do once you get used to it so the main thing is to practice.
