Metal: Hellsinger is a blast of rhythm and FPS where you take heed of Unknown through the eight Hells under the Red Judge’s domain in a quest to get your voice back. Amongst the beasts and bosses that you will face, different weapons will also pop up to help you remove your enemy’s heads from their bodies. One such weapon of mass destruction is the Vulcan, an incredible crossbow that delivers explosive bolts to your prey. Here is how to use the Vulcan in Metal: Hellsinger.
How to effectively use Vulcan in Metal: Hellsinger
Vulcan is a crossbow with explosive rounds. Only two bolts can be shot before reloading, but it boasts the highest damage and range of any other weapon in the game. It is a little less versatile than its counterparts, but it sure is powerful.
Move or be moved
The unique edge that this weapon boasts is the explosive bolts. Upon contact with a foe or a surface, a blue explosion will affect a moderate radius. For this reason, Vulcan is pretty good at precise crowd control. it is no Persephone, but you don’t need to get up close and on a perfect hit, it does more damage.
If you ever get overwhelmed, all you need to do is unleash a quick two bolts to the floor in front of you and dash away. Vulcan simply melts through weaker enemies.
Tackling Titans
However, not only does this weapon manage weaker enemies, it is an incredible asset when it comes to fighting tougher enemies and elites. The insanely high damage means that you can’t get much better than constantly throwing these bolts directly into a Siege Behemoth. Especially on perfect hits and quick-reloads. You’ll drowning your tough foes in damage in no time.
Shielded opponents, or beasts hiding behind walls? The powerful AOE damage will take care of them. Flying Lesser Seraph threatening to beam you to smithereens? The long-range, precise, high-damage bolts will tear right through them.

Ghost Bolts
To really experience the best this weapon has to offer, select the Ghost Rounds Sigil, earned by completing the Weapon Trickery torment. Especially when levelled up, you can keep quickly switching between your Vulcan and another weapon and have half a dozen bolts lined up to wreak absolute havoc before reloading.
Works like a charm.
Fate
As if the explosions weren’t crowd control enough, Vulcan’s ultimate creates a singularity that sucks enemies into it. Too many beats running around? Simply point where you want them to go and watch them all helplessly get sucked in. Then simply launch a couple of bolts into the fray and say goodbye to your problems.
The Vulcan won’t be for everyone, as the limited ammo capacity means that players must be constantly on their feet to time the reloads every time whilst avoiding their foes. But the leg work is well worth the capabilities of quickly dominating powerful opponents, eliminating hordes of lesser enemies in seconds, and being essentially a railgun when it comes to boss fights. And with the Ghost Rounds Sigil, this weapon is elevated to insane capabilities.
